Like Winky here. Perhaps another case of a good little man
versus a good big man. Oscar did'nt have the mustard on his
punches to gain Hopkins respect, and I don't think Shane
has it now the second time around. If Wright gets cocky or
careless, he gives Mosley an opening. I like the fact Wright was sparring with Lacy to prepare him for Vanderpool. I think
Wright waited too long and worked too hard to lose focus
now. And now Mosleys' wife is his manager and has pretty much taken over guiding his "career". Jeez Louise what next!
Took Winky -220 at Pinnacle.

i`d be shocked to my core if this doesn`t cash....a second go round didn`t help vs forrest.....and as you said, this should be a similar situation to oscar/bernard....

throw in the fact that shane doesn`t look right...he`s beginning to look and sound like damaged goods......

it`s a go,imo....

I def dont think shane is damaged goods. He has never taken a beating in the ring. I def think shane has enough on his punches to hurt Winky, or anyone else at 154 for that matter. The bottom line is that he is too small for these guys. He would be the best 135lb. fighter still giong today if he stayed there. He still has a decent shot, but i would def play Winky here. Mosley throws every shot to take you out, but he cant get in position to land against these bigger guys like Forrest or Wright. Only thing that makes me think twice before throwing a boatload on Winky is that Shane now has a new trainer, Goosen, and he turned Diego Corrales's career around for the better. So that is a factor.

i think goosen is a good move.....but,unless shane goes back on the andro(and i think it`s possible he was on juice at certain times in his career),he just shouldn`t be fighting these bigger, taller guys....and even with andro...winky`s just a bad match-up...winky`s a better, bigger left handed forrest...

winky doesn`t get stopped...and i just don`t think that shane can decision a taller,naturally bigger,slicker lefty...

size matters....

Hey Cap, I do appreciate all of your comments, but I must beg to differ about Mosley not getting lumped up ever. Surely you must recall the beatdown he got in the first Forrest fight. Shane got hammered pretty good in that one. Goosen is good no doubt, but he is capable of only so much. Mosley has a shot but only if he brings the A+ game and Winky is off maybe a tad that nite. I just feel Shane has already peaked.
Maybe I'm seeing only what I want to, but I go with Wright.

Franks i hear ya, I love Mosley but i couldnt bet him on this one. I def think Winky wins this one, unless Shane pulls off the unthinkable. I give him credit for getting right back in there with him, shows he has heart. Forrest gave him some good shots, but he has never taken a serious beating in the ring, or ever been stopped. I def do not think he is damaged goods. The guy is still a tremendous athlete, and prob one of the top 5 most talented guys in boxing today. Unfortunatly for him, all that talent wont be able to overcome a guy who is very good and just plain bigger. I think Winky is a huge play here.
